This thread is for posting humorous images. One should enclose a brief description of why they find the image in question humorous.

As you can see, this picture is humorous because it is clearly a dog, yet is wearing a person's hat, person's necklace, and a person's sunglasses. The juxtaposition of these two contrasting articles, ie

1. the dog

and

2. the human accessories

cause the viewer to almost do a double-take, whereupon one's sense of situation appropriateness is compromised. Dogs do not usually wear hats or sunglasses, and hats and sunglasses usually accompany people. The combination of both articles in the one setting causes one to get a taste of the absurd from this picture and, depending on one's character, the reaction can vary from an internal scoff to a hearty chuckle.

Another example of a humorous picture is this depiction of a cup, saucer and spoon. If you merely glance at it, your brain merely registers the components of a tea set-albeit minus the teapot, milk jug and sugar tray. However, the discerning eye will notice that that implements are actually made of fur.

Many people will find this mildy amusing, if not ticklish. However, I would like to point out that this picture utilises fur in an amusing way, and thus may be offensive to some posters.
