yeh got a gilet and some socks and a base layer

gloves were crap, the jackets look a lot cheaper and nastier than before, track pumps ok (i can get 110psi with mine froma a couple of years ago)

shame the gilet has a fleece back and not a mesh back like last years but it'll do for the price

The jerseys were huge fitting as were the gillet's (the mediums hung off me like a black sack), they seem to be heavy duty winter wear. The Jackets are not cycling jackets at all, too loose fitting. The base layer was ok though...

The socks were fine as usual of course, but the gloves are dissappointing, I don't think I have ever encountered a lower quality glove in all of my life, I doubt they would last a single ride, far inferior to the usual ones they have. I try to ride in crap ALDI/LIDL gear all winter (following an expensive spill on miserable January morning which cost me a lot of valuable Assos kit). I consider it to be disposable, but those gloves are beyond crap.

Wanna get a base layer, has it any pockets for holding a phone/gps?

nope its a base layer like a vest (well it is a vest actually) goes under your cycling jersey (edit: no pocket)

quigs gilet doesnt hang off me (dont know whether thats a good or a bad thing prob. bad)

    gloves were pure c**p though
the best (supermarket) gear i've seen is the cane creek winter cycling jacket and baselayers aldi had in last autumn

;) I know its a base layer, some running top layers have a small pocket.

Yeah, I think my expectations might be a little unreasonable, the last ones I got in ALDI fit me fine in an M, but the LIDL size M was much, much bigger. Then again despite a stubborn bit of belly I am not that big at 5 7' and 10 stone 4 lbs, so perhaps I would have needed an S instead.
