Project Vintage

    Hello all, long time lurker here, thought I may as well post this.

    I managed to get hold of an old Viking bike, with vintage Shimano 105 on it, Weinmann brakes etc. Starting to do it up and it's coming along great. Gonna put up some images on saturday maybe if I get a chance.

    I was just wondering if anyone had any old parts (say 70's or 80's) that they would like to sell. Really looking for a Campy Super Record groupset or similar. Need to make it look far more vintage.

    Also if anyone has any old frames/bikes they're willing to sell, I've got another project lined up, so need some ammo.

    Thanks,

    Paul

    It's all taken apart now. I'm trying to decide whether to respray the frame or just paint it myself. Not to sure yet though.

    Looks like the paint is in nice condition. I'd leave it as it is. You'll never get it resprayed with the stickers back as nice again.

    I've actually gotten rid of the stickers, thought they looked **** tbh. There's some rust forming in some parts, especially on the top tube where he must've kept a lock or something. Thinking of painting that bit cream, the bit just under the handlebar cream and another bit cream, a bit like this;

    But where it's white, i'll be painting it cream. What do you's think?
