anyone tried Redlaser yet. One of the coolest apps i've come across. :)

It actualy does work. I've only tried a couple of barcodes, it found the product, and gave me back a list of online retailers.

downloaded it but the number it comes back to from the barcode is different to the number printed underneath it.

Have not got it to recognise anything yet.

The wife thinks I'm feckin mad, running round the house looking for barcodes :-). Works well on stuff like books, CD's and DVD's.

Edit: yeah, my initial enthusiasm has been curbed, it can be flakey enough. When it does work, its cool though ;)
