Okay, I put a challenge to the lovely folk of the A&R forum on this here boards. I have 14.60 on a 3v voucher and am absolutely confuzzled as to what to buy, so I pose a challenge for you to find me something that I can buy.

Rules:
1 - Item must be pre PS2 era (this means that PS2 stuff is not allowed however Dreamcast stuff is)
2 - Price must include shipping and cannot exceed14.60
3 - If you have found something on ebay,I'd prefer a 'buy it now' item but I don't mind bidding

Interesting challenge.

Might have found something. A Megadrive with two six button pads from an Irish seller. Currently on 9.99 but because it's an Irish auction you more than likely wont have to bid against anyone else so it'll end on that.

It does actually say in the description hes willing to meet for collection, so I'll send him a message and see, I'm defintely going to watch that though. And I'll check out som youtube vids of G-Daruis

Edit: Just seen Ocarina of Time for about €8 incl P&P, worth it? I'm now seriously considering G.Darius after watching some vids, so sorry o1s1n, but I retract what I said :P

8 euro for OOT is not a bad deal. It's a very common game but at a price like that you really can't go wrong.

It's also one of those games I think way too many people get all rose tinted about. It good alright, but not 'OMFG BEST GAME IN THE WORLD EVAR!' stuff.

As for G Darius, please buy it!! Saves me from throwing more money at ebay.

I just seen OoT fot 7.50 incl P&P, but I've decided to buy G.Darius as theres floods of OoT's and not much of G.Darius. I'll top up the 3v card again next week and get OoT then.

I'm sure there are other G-Darius auctions. It's not that common but not pricey either which is rare for a shmup.

This thread has got me thinking though, maybe we could get a sticky like the gaming bargains one but just for retro/arcade stuff? Mods, what do you think?

You should have gotten Taito Legends 2, G Darius is on the disc. Also I say no to a bargains sticky, hard enough getting my wants without having to compete directly with you lot *shakes fist*
