Just curious, can you bring disposable razors (Mach 3 for instance) in carry on? Assuming you can't but just wondering

Yes, I bring disposable razor in my bag all the time, which is ridiculous considering it contains a blade! Ah, these rules just confuse me...

You're gonna have no problem with razor blades in any airport in the world. There's no chance anyone would ever use those as a weapon.:P But just remember not to bring any cosmetics. God forbid that you might moisturise the flight ccrew to death or anything like that!!!

Yeah no problem. Its electrical and pretty much useless without a plug. I don't actually think you could harm someone with one anyway, even with power.

(This my job at the aiport btw)

    I think officially no. http://www.dublinairport.com/plan-your-trip/tips-and-advice/packing.html

'Razor blades (razors that have the blade set into a plastic moulding are allowed, but razors that can be opened and the razor blade removed are prohibited).'

Its really up to the ASU at the airport. But normally I think no.

    Electric - Yes
Cartridge Razor (Fusion, Mach3 type) - Yes
Safety Razor (Double Edge type) - Yes for Razor, no for blades
    Straight Razor - No

    Welcome to Boards.ie dekeed!

Boards is great isn't it?! Can't fault the site at all really with the wealth of knowledge and support available & shared for all.

Thanks for pointing that out :)

I am closing this thread though as the last post was in July of 2009 and your post doesn't really warrant it remaining open.

    Thanks,
