Junior Cert Results 2009 :)

I've been searching the Internet for the date students will be receiving their junior cert results 2009 but can't seem to find it . does anyone know the date ?

Following previous years, probably 9th September.

Looking at the SEC site, they say mid-September, but last year was the 10th, so I think the 16th would be too late. It will be a Wednesday.

On the sheet we were given out giving the code to access our results online, it says our results will be availiable on Wednesday, 9th September. I don't know why it doesn't say that examinations.ie too.

I think we get ours in the evening?
I'm prob gonna be a bag of nerves hours beforehand in class waiting...:rolleyes:

No, results are in morning, available from 9am but I think teachers just don't hand them out until about 12pm to try keep you in school.

why dont you stay at home and get them on the net at 12?? although thats not the same craic as being with your mates

I thought I read somewhere you couldn't access them on the internet until 4? Probably to stop everyone staying at home for the day :rolleyes:

whole pile of reasons lol!
1. The results come on the net at 4 so i couldnt wait that long like!

2. My mam wouldnt let me miss a day of school.

3. As you said, it will be great craic with friends.

4. I wanna open an envelope that has a good meaning! . The only envelopes i open are warnings from the library to return overdue books :cool:

5. I have to comfort my friend. She gets seriously stressed over exams and stuff...:o

Same, ours are given out last class which starts at 3.05 on a wednesday .

Aw ours are given out first thing Wednesday morning and we get to go home, but we're all staying around town I guess! Then we get a day off on Thursday for celebration purposes :D

...Mainly because over the years nobody turned up lol

If it makes you all feel better we get a half-day every wednesday, so we're guaranteed to get them before 1 o'clock :pac:

lol our school was the same you'll get them around 12 if you have a half day id say!!we did anyways

It's always a Wednesday. It's supposed to be the 9th this year according to loads of people.
