    Just the serial issued. You can always ask what the next number up might be. I always ask, just out of curiosity.

    You could always use a friend's / relative's address if you want another county code...

    Just a thought.... If you had a friend in England who you sold your car to, he registered it there and then sold it straight back to you after registering it there on new plates, can you then re-register it here on a different plate? (even though you haven't moved the car from your house) I know the tax book has the last number plate on it but it doesn't go further back. I presume the tax office would have the chassis no. already logged? Would they? I'm driving a zv and would love to have my county on it.

    well im lucky i have a meath house and wicklow house so its either MH or WW.. think ill go for the MH
