Build a Cot/Daybed

My partner and I are expecting our first child and as a surprise to her I would like to look into building a cot/daybed myself or talking to someone who could build one for me. You would probably be better off trying the woodworking section. Haven't made one myself yet, but will be in the future so would be interested in how you get on
