Furniture far too expensive!!

I wanted to buy a futon made by this company in England. They gave me a list of suppliers in England and then one in Ireland. The company in Ireland (based in Dubline) were charging 700 for the futon bed excluding delivery. This bed is flat packed by the way so you have to assemble yourself.


3 companies in England were selling the exact same futon for 350euro where delivery charges were 70euro.

i have a right mind to call that furniture chain in dublin to say what a rip off they are.

makes me very mad.

i have come across the ikea furniture before. the quality of wood was great but assembly joints were horrible and a bit flimsy.

to get a good futon/ sofa bed you must purchase off a good furniture store which has the right manufacturer links.

All of which appear to be in england from my futons point of view.
