    In recent weeks, my first gen iPhone is showing all the signs of giving up the ghost. It freezes randomly, it won't accept inputs on the screen at random times and it keeps resetting to the "enter security number" screen.

    Might have something to do with the fact that I dropped it in water 2 months ago :rolleyes:

    Long story short, I will be in London Stanstead, Poland, Berlin and Manchester during the first 2 weeks in August. Can I get a contract free 3Gs in any of these countries? The Polish currency is very favourable at the moment.

    Otherwise, what is the safest place to buy one online?

    As far as I can tell, neither of the two Polish operators do iPhone on PAYG, so you're blocked there.
