    Jamm,

    thanks for the post,

yep, we do normally have a selection of open box clearance kit in Belfast and about twice a year we do a blow out Open Box sale exclusively for Boardies - this year it will be in September (not too long to wait now!) when we try to clear out all our open box / ex-demo / ex-display / ex-repair and 14 day exchange kit at cost or lower.

If you can give me an idea of what you are looking for I'll have a scout around locally and see if there is anything suitable in open box for you at the moment and post by return,

    Thanks again,

    ATB,

    John Mc

    Hi John!

Not really looking for anything but was tempted by this PHILIPS 37PFL7662LCD TV: £199.95
seems to be a cracking price! Mrs Jamm will give me a hiding but it would be worth it at that price!

    Jamm,

sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I don't have any Open box 37"'s kicking around - but I do have one Philips 32" 32PFL7603D - Ambilight / HD Ready blah blah, perfect ex-demo that I would clear at just £299 (was £599.95) ?

    Full warranty applies of course!

Thanks again for the post and keep me posted if I can assist in any way,

    ATB,

    John Mc

    Cop,

unfortunately not - MPEG2 for the UK only (it does have UHF/VHF analogue tuner tho')

    Hi John,

What might you have in a 42inch LCD (full HD video and PC) open box. It will be connected to a HTPC.

    Thanks

I'm interested in Denon DM37 with speakers. I'm not sure if I want to wait till September though. ;)

Drop me a line if you would like to get one sorted!

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the replay.
    I'd be very interested.

What speakers would you recommend if not Denon SC-M37?
Will you have other colours in stock like silver/cherry or black only?

    Cheers

    Kw,

I would recommend that you DONT match the DM37 with the Denon speakers!

Whilst they are not bad - there are speakers out there that are much better than the Denons

If you want budget good looks and decent sound - for just £59.95 or £249.95 with the DM37 try the excellent Teac LSH250 in Piano Lacquer (they look much better in the flesh than in the pic! - http://www.teac.co.uk/products/speakers-LS-H250-Piano-Black.php

If you want a well reviewed speaker that sounds well (especially on rock/Pop) then have a look at the Q Acoustics 1010i at £89.95 or £279.95 in the system - we have these in stock in black and maple and cherry are on route to us at the moment.

If you want just the best sounding combination with the DM37 at a reasonable price - try the Monitor Audio Bronze Reference One at £149.95 or £299.95 in a system (probably the best deal as well!) They are available in Black / Cherry and Walnut (Walnut look really well) http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/bronze-br/br1/your-speaker

Finally if you want the best of all worlds go for the Radius 90HD which are really, really compact - sound great - and above all are so damn sexy it's untrue! we can do these at £219.95 or £369.95 in a system with the DM37.

Hope that has been helpful and I have not confused you even more!

Thanks again and please do drop me a line with a contact number if you would like me to reserve any of the above for you.

    ATB,

    John Mc

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the thorough response!

I'll go with the Q Acoustics 1010i or Monitor Audio Bronze Reference One.
I listen to jazz/rock most of the time. Does it make any difference?
I wouldn't mind checking the sound on one or the other myself. Is it possible?
In terms of colour, do you have DM37 in silver?
And the last question, do you have resanable stands for those speakers?

    Cheers!
