    Hi, just wondering can anyone tell me if there is anywhere in galway that i can get sterling after work, 6 or 7 in the evening, I wont get a chance to go to a bank.

    Not sure what's open after 6 though

    Just noticed that there is a bureau de change in Dunnes on Eyre Square. It's at the customer services desk.

    Just use your ATM/Lazer/Credit Card while there, will work out cheaper than paying stupid conversion charges.

    I'm not sure how many of the places listed are still operating, or whether the shops are in the business of selling currency (rather than buying from incoming tourists who want to spend their money here!)

    You could try the airport? Don't know if there's anything out there doing change or not ....
