Sky+ Remote Record App for iPhone

    Morning all.

    Does anyone else have problems using the BskyB sky+ remote record app? Everytime I log in it says 'Account not set up for remote record'.

    I know there's the TV Plus app that apparently works very well, but its €3.99, and while I'd like to have the app working on my phone 'just in case', I really couldn't be arsed paying for it.

    Would love to hear if its just very dificult to configure or isnt working in Ireland.

    I have it and it works perfectly. You need to have remote record set up first on your sky account. You can set it up on their website. You have to register the phone number and sky box you will be using.

    Thanks a lot,

    I've registered and everything and as far as I can see have followed all the instructions, but I must have messed up somewhere along the way. Just from reading reviews in the app store there were loads of people saying that it wasnt working for them in Ireland so I wasn't sure.

    Ill give it a bash again when I'm home from work.

    No problem. I had it on my previous phone also, but the iPhone version is much slicker and faster and its free!

    Yea it's the free part that does it for me. Dont watch that much TV, but theres one or two shows I just don't want to miss or have to wait for a replay, and if I'm paying for Sky+ I may as well be able to use it properly.

    Got it working yesterday. Now only need to find a reason to use it.
