Alternative To Braces

Has anyone on here tried any alternative methods other than braces to straight teeth? I'm 18 at the moment, but gradually (as a dentist told me a few years back), my bite has gotten worse, also resulting in my teeth being all over the place. Not really into the whole railway tracks tbh, so looking for an alternative.

Any other fix is purely cosmetic / prosthetic and would involve cutting your teeth down for crowns or veneers, your young and have a long time to get out of your teeth, think about the braces again, they are often the best option.
