Basicly I am thinking of doing this course and would love for some input on it hopefully from someone who has done /is doing it.

I am from Carlow and Blanchardstown IT also offers it, so they would be handier for the Lab classes but for some reason I am out off by it. Blanch offer the same course for €2500 where as Sligo IT offer it for €3800?? What am I missing out on if I do it in Blach that Sligo are charging €1300 more for???

    Thanks

If you are going to do it online then be prepared to buy a good pillow as you will no doubt be put to sleep by some very boring lectures and some lecturers who's knowledge to say the least is very limited. I definitely would be looking at what options other colleges have on offer. Just remember one thing, its your money and dont be afraid to ask plenty of questions. The best opinions you will get is from past students.
Studying Quality and using a book called 'Quality for dummies' would not inspire too much confidence.

If you want come out with your degree at end and basically dont care what you learn or attitude some the lectures/management in there then you will be delighted with the place!!
Lets just say with the least amount effort, id say its almost impossible to fail!

But im not like that, im doing it fulltime and also i know lads that have done it online in sligo and totally agree with the above, stantard is poor.

There are some really great lectures teaching some of the mechatronics course but sadly they are few and far between.
