one of these things is the exam timetable FOR JUNIOR FRESHMAN BESS (economics and social studies) from last may.

on the tcd website its been taken down. insurance will not cover this if i can get it. so does anyone know where i can get a copy to print off and fax to them?

Seems like a bit of an odd thing for them to need.. but you could get on to the exam office tomorrow and they should be able to help you.

Could you email your course co-ordinator or the exams office? Hope it works out for you.

they need it because i need to prove i had no knowledge of how my exams would go once id bought their insurance. thanks guys ill be ringing tomorrow morning.panic time for quirkster :(

just checked a ONE WAY ECONOMY CLASS FLIGHT with BA from here to heathrow - 2000 dollars......

This seems like something the SU could definitely help out with. The new officers came in on July 13th so I'd definitely email these two people. If they're hanging around campus they could hassle someone in the BESS office for you!

Deputy President/Education Officer: Ashley Cooke education@tcdsu.org
    Welfare Officer: Cormac Cashman welfare@tcdsu.org

Regarding the flights, one way transatlantic flights with BA, Virgin and some other airlines are often far more expensive than return flights. Sounds crazy i know, but is very true - check return flights for the same dates even if you have no intention of using the return leg. There is a good chance they will be cheaper.

In the next 14 days Aer Lingus' prices for one way flights from SFO to DUB are as low as 769 EUR.

    Good Luck

Exams office should be able to help you. Was it e-mailed out before or was a link just sent around? There must be someone paranoid enough in your class who saved it to their hard drive.

    Call, don't e-mail btw.

Some how I doubt there is only one free seat between now and September.

    Have to agree with you.

Plus, who says you need a direct flight? Go through New York or something. They run at least daily from there if not more often.

Obviously there are but I dont book the seat. USIT do it for me, and BA are the only airline they use I THINK and between no and September, I was told there are no free spaces with whatever airlines they use under whatever contract theyve signed.

Bastard. I saved the timetable too and was getting excited reading through the thread, thinking I could actually help someone on here for once.

Ooooh provisional timetable?? Don't suppose you could tell me when intro to Sociology and Political Science are on? I had feckin strep throat and couldn't sit either of them and haven't been able to find out when the repeats are on!

Word of warning : Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give Jobey the timetable. She made up that elaborate, ridiculous tale of her strep throat and is a massive terrorist trying to ensure young students do not learn anymore about politics (sociology was thrown in to throw you all off) so she can soon enforce her backward ways upon us. You have been warned.

Mark if that didn't make me laugh so much I'd be annoyed, ha ha!

No seriously though I have a ticket to Electric Picnic so I really need to know when my exams are!

Electric Picnic? Bombing some of the world's finest artists to death I see. Some of their lyrics rocking the boat too much for you is it?

    Scum. Sub-human scum.

    Heed my warning folks.

Can you get insurance to pay for repeat fees, for in case you both fail and have to go to Electric Picnic during supplementals?
