    hello,
I am visiting Longford on Friday night, i am looking for a place to eat and then go for a few drinks.
There is just 2 of us
To eat, something fairly relaxed is all we are looking for.
For the pub, somewhere with a decent atmospehere but not too noisy.

    Help appreciated!
    Thanks RB

hi reallybad, i really recommend Aubergeine restaurant which is on Ballymahon street, you cant book it but there is a lovely seated area if you wish to wait for a table and you can enjoy a few drinks whilst doing that. then after your meal you could go to either PV's which is also on ballymahon street, or go to Valentines which is on Main Street near the bank of ireland.

    enjoy :D
