Getting a wii chipped

    hey all does anyone know of any reputable shops in limerick that ya can get a wii chipped as my aunt from california sent me over 5 games for my wii and i cant play em after googling the net i found the only way you can get them to work is to get it chipped so your help would be very greatly appreciated thanks in advance:(

    I dont think you can talk about backup games here on the console modding forum, just so you know before you post anymore about them. You can mod your own Wii if you have an SD card Zelda:Twilight Princess (retail copy) and the proper files for free.

    Follow the instructions to the letter though! Any deviation from the guide will result in fail, brick and then woe!

    Note: you don't need to have Zelda anymore to do a softmod. There is a new hack called bannerbomb. You will find all the info here:

    This is a softmod, not a modchip. It is not necessary to chip a wii as the softmod does all of that and is much easier

    Agreed, wii softmod is the way to go - very easy - very effective.
