Lualala is pretty good, on the fringes of the NZ team.

James got shafted last season with the Scarlets, good to see he'll be back in action.

Both good players , the Blues really need them with Roberts/Shanklin/Halfpenny out injured.

And that could be some squad when they're all back.

The Blues are on their way to being Wales' biggest team.

    With;

    15. Ben Blair
    14. Halfpenny
    13. Shanklin
    12. Roberts
    11. James/Cejka (spelling?)

    Some backline there.

Out-half's a bit questionable, but Cooper's decent at 9 at least.

Outside bet for the Magners maybe?

Laulala good singing since two first choice centres are injured.

Dafydd with all his experience is 34 and too old to continue. What is he going to bring to the team - his grey hair or maybe his 20-min gametime and would need to be replaced after that and still collect a cheque at the end of the month. Why not get one of the developer players at junior level.

I'd say James is definitely there to offer experience while they await injuries to heal.

Czekaj (checked the spelling :pac:) and Halfpenny aren';t that old, and will be the Blues wingers for a long time if they regain form/keep it respectively. Signing anyone younger might be considered a waste when you've two talented youngsters as it is.

Tom James is ahead of Czekaj.

Yeah Tom James is going to be a very good player. Headcase aswell.
Nicky Robinson was a very big loss and norton-night isnt a great replacement for o/h anyway.

The blues are the best team in Wales, Scarlets and Dragons are sh1te and while Ospreys are talented, they struggle to work as a team.

Fly half is a concern after letting Nicky Robinson go. Norton Knight and Ceri Sweeney are pretty average and who's knows after that.

Cooper is a good number 9. Wales have great depth in that position.

I agree, would be a good outside bet.

    My Top 4 would be:

    Munster
    Leinster
    and 2 from Cardiff/Edinburgh/Ospreys

    Ah fair enough.

I always think the Ospreys are potentially the best team in Wales, but they're just not gelling.

I can actually see Munster and Leinster finishing behind the likes of Cardiff and Edinburgh this season and concentrating more on Europe, unless one of 'ems knocked out early.

Laulala would be competing for a place on most international teams.

    Very handy centre.

I maybe wrong but I think Andy Robinson's exit from Edinburgh will see them struggle again. Agree about Cardiff though. Think Ospreys will put their main emphasis on Europe.
