Why don't we hire google to fix the government. Get them to come in go in and look over how everything works and use all their fancy technologies to modernise how everything works, they've got that new wave technology that could make government work much more efficiently and it could remove all the bureaucracy. Google also has offices in Ireland so the money would help jobs in Ireland.

I know it's a drastic step that calls up all kinds of privacy and security questions but I'd trust google much more than the Irish government how much worse could they make things? Imagine if Irish government worked as well as google products, no mountain of forms or phone calls just exactly what you needed quickly.

I actually think it's a great idea if the government got a contractor to sort out it's internet presence. Some of our websites are stuck in the early noughties/late ninties.
Perfect example of an obsolete looking Irish government website.
    Yet another terrible one.

It would be likepromoting a stockbroker to a judge or pharmacist to a GP. googoverment would turn the country into the Brave New World.

Economy is only a part of human society. It's not all of it.
IMNSHO, we are too focused on economic matters as it is.
