Just read a good piece in the observer food monthly magazine (the observer is such a great paper) which featured shultz and his work in rwanda. I know its still about the profit but do you think after reading this that the coffee is going to get any better? Well even if its not it looks like he has just become the biggest player in fairtrade coffee.

Fairtrade isn't really quality focused so it won't really make their coffee taste any better.

Saw that in the Irish Times recently. Can't understand why they are doing that.

To attract a new audience. Starbucks has a certain stigma too it now.

More importantly, have they sorted their prices here yet? Last time I was in there it was something like 3.50 for a decent sized coffee.

I pay 2.40 in central London. I hate Dublin.
