Doesn't do anything for me either. Just look at the options list $5000 for carbon wing mirrors and $10000 for "liquid metal" paint add a few more options and you could have a Ferrari 599.

I like it it, it has a retro feel to the old gullwing SL with modern design cues overlayed on it...

    actually like it a lot...

    The back is awful.

The first pic in the link it looks cool but side profile or any angle where you see the rear lets it down

I think its well cool - plus isn't this the car that will be getting an all electric drive train also?

Add a few accessories and bend over..

Unless they can be 'retroffited'... so you only pay VAT, and not have them included in VRT.

Beautiful car though. My new 'Lotto car'.

The lights look a bit Korean (front and rear), but apart from that I like it.

I think it is class. And since very few cars seem to look well in photos these days i think that is quite an achievement.

I would take this over a 599 10 times out of 10. Looks way better than the 599.

This is far better than i expected.

Think you'd want to see that SLS in the flesh before deciding, especially with the gull wings.

The electric car looks interesting, but some quick (and possibly bad) maths says at 15c per KWh as the ESB charges at the minute and 13.5% VAT, at max output this thing would be costing €65 or so per hour to run. Sounds terrible, but of course it depends on what it's like when idling/cruising and how much it can reclaim from braking etc.

If the electrci version has roughly the same power dissipation as the petrol (that is 562 BHP), then I would imagine that at motorway cruising speed, the car would only need about 80BHP tops to maintain a cruise, so it'd cost approx €9.25 per hour...

I'd imagine at motorway cruise (120kmh) in the petrol, about 7l/100km: €9.24 for an hour?

    Our creative accounting breaks even!
