    Hi all, purchased a 450D in harvey normans back in March, then moved to Oz on a working traveling visa.. etc etc..

    Camera has stopped working and HN here in Melbourne will not fix the product as the canon warranty still applies to it. Canon Oz will not fix it as it was purchased in d EU.

    Has anyone had this or similar happen to them, and if so, what on earth did they do!?!

    Ring Canon EU and ask them what to do.

    It makes no sense that Canon OZ won't look after it.

    I agree fully, the chap in Harvey normans here reckons, that Canon oz - simply think its not their problem.

    Actually I might just give them a ring and see what they say..
