And as much as I hate to give it to Kilkenny, you could have nearly every outfield player from them.

    Ok i'll kick it off:
    Brendan Commins in goal

I would go for Damien Fitzhenry in goal

I'll get the ball rolling here so:

    ...........................Brendan Commins
    Michael Kavanagh......Noel Hickey......Ollie Canning
    Tommy Walsh............JJ Delaney.......Sean Og O'Halpin
    James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick....Jerry O'Connor
    Ben O'Connor.........Henry Shefflin.......Ken McGrath
    Eddie Brennan.......Brian Corcoran........Eoin Kelly

Lot of great players i had to leave out but everyone cant make it and dont want to be playing lads out of position (easy way out). Think its a fair reflection of the last decade with: 7 Kilkenny, 4 Cork, 2 Tipp, 1 Waterford & 1 Galway.

But you did pick a player out of position......Ken McGrath at half forward?? He wouldn't do there, not enough pace for it.

I think the terms have to be clarified a bit here. I see Shanahan is getting a few picks on the basis of the few years he hit form, yet it seems people are leaving out Canning even though he clearly merits a place based on the two years he has played so far. Is each player presumed to be at playing at their peak? Because if so guys like Jackie Tyrell who had one great season should be getting or Ger Farragher could be picked.

I think Shanahan is getting picked on the fact that he has 3 all-stars in the 00's. I don't think JC warrants a position on 1 great game last year and an ok season so far this year. If it was based on the last 2 years then JC would be an automatic choice. DJ Carey or Charlie Carter aren't being picked either even though they played in the first part of the decade.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think he got an All-Star at either centre or wing forward.

Also, no need for this 15 subs rubbish, pick your 15 and dont be afraid to leave people out !!!
