    Hi

If you buy a new set of alloys in the UK and get them sent by post or courier will you have to pay extra to get them through customs??

I didnt and I got mine through Wheelbase.co.uk

They came direct on a truck right to Limerick and the Limerick company shipped them to me.

AFAIK, they did not sit in a warehouse anywhere other than the UK and Limerick so customs would not get their beady eyes on them.

nowuckenfurries is correct, as long as UK VAT has been paid then customs won't want anything.

I'm just curious, but what kind of alloys did you get? I clicked on http://www.wheelbase.co.uk/ and it was a bike store.

    Sorry for going off topic
