    Evening all,

Anybody know anywhere in Dublin that is selling the Nintendo Wii Network Adapter? Argos dont have them.

I bought the Wii 3 years ago and it had the lan adaptor on board. Sold that one a while back just bought another.

    No ****ing lan adaptor.

Nice little cash cow for Nintendo corp.

    /Rant over

Not Dublin, but check ebay. The wireless seems to be cheaper than the wired and can be had for about £7.

 I have one since launch and it only connects via wifi there is no LAN port on a Wii. Nintendo have made no hardware changes like that to the Wii. I could be wrong but can't find nothing online

It would probably be just as cheap to buy the wireless router with lan ports on it. You can get them cheap enough and it'll be more useful in the the long run than a wii specific component.

I bought a very good USB --> LAN adapter from http://www.dealextreme.com/ work with PC's too.

I used it to connect my Wii to the net via my mobile broadband connection on my laptop, effectively using my laptop as as gateway for my WII gaming.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

After some wandering about today looking for a lan adaptor it turns out the Wii has built in wifi!

    :o

    Sorted!
