    Picked one up in Aldi for €28 . I think its good value for the price.

    I got a cordless drill from ALDI about 18 months ago and the batteries lasted no length before giving problems. They may have addressed these issues in the meantime, but I certainly wouldn't buy any cordless equipment from ALDI again.

    Did you look into getting a replacement battery ? I wonder are they available from Aldi.
