Tramore itself is a nice track.

I've played Faithlegg in Waterford. Very nice course. It was about 6 or 7 years ago when I played it but it was in good condition. None of the holes stood out for me but a fine course all the same.

If you don't mind driving out the road a bit there is a lovely course in Dungarven called gold coast. Would recommend it highly.

Also played West Waterford which was a fine course but not a patch on Gold Coast. They do have some kind of deal though to play the three courses around Dungarven if you want.

Tramore is worth a visit also Waterford Castle (open may still be on ) and Faithlegg,Waterford is fine although if i am honest i am not a huge fan of it,and you could do worse then Williamstown its the municipal course its rough around the edges but a very good test of golf (i think you can get out on a sunday afternoon for €15) normal weekend rate is €25.

tramore is a nice course. 25 quid for open stableford on friday with grill thrown in. Are you around for the poker is it.

Carrick is also pretty good, bout half an hour away. also waterford castle(£50) or faithlegg.

I think Tramore is in a bit of a transition stage at the moment as they are adding an extra 9 holes, to make 3 seperate 9's. I played it recently and it's a bit tardy/rough at the moment. Waterford Castle has open week until Saturday, lovely course (I'm a member:D), Faithlegg is nice aswell, or any of the 3 in Dungarvan aswell. As someone posted above I'm not a fan of Waterford Golf Club, but that's a personal thing, it is generally in good nick. Williamstown (Municipal) is the cheap and cheerful option, long course.

Played Waterford Castle a while back. Beautiful area / course as the castle is located on a small island. Not too challenging either, really enjoyed it.

I just don't like the course, simple as that. I have no issue with the club or members or anything like that, but I would not play there if I had a choice of somewhere else.
