Today i turned on my PC and found alot of stuff different.

    Sound drivers totally deleted
Start menu all changed and different colours
My home page changed in firefox
Windows are being weird when minimized/maximized

Have only been looking for like 5 mins

Did a system scan and i have no viruses what so ever. Im the only one with access to my PC

Specs ~ XP SP3, Intel Quad core, 9500GS , 3 GIG of DDR Ram

Never seen something like this happen before

Anyone got any idea what might have caused it?

go to your C drive \documents and settings

and see if there's a 2nd directory with the your login name. sometimes your profile corrupts and it creates a new one.

it would explain the different colours and things but not why the sound drivers have gone.

Just found a win32 system process error hidden underneath the taskbar

    Reboot fixed the problems
