Passport / Visa Q

Hoping you can help! My OH is heading off in a couple of months time to Oz / New Z etc. Her passport will be of date while she's away so she needs to apply for a renewal now. Question is, does your passport number change when you get a renewal? Does she have to wait to get the new passport before she applies for the visas?…

Yes it changes.

You can have one in a couple of weeks or so using the An Post Passport Express (or whatever they call it) service.

You do get a new number as mentioned above ^^^^
