Guess there is two big one's for me,

had like 1 or 2 Euro left on my Bet365 account late last year,

and before I went out I just threw it all on a mad 12 team accumulator,

featured teams like Madrid (-1) and over 17 corners in some Argentinian league game, and some other team to get the most corners and really silly things,

and when I came home I had just over 11/1200 in my account, couldn't believe it came in, must have been 500/1 or so,

but another big one was a couple of months prior to that, I had a 5 Euro accumulator in Boyles, predicted all the correct results of the Premiership games that weekend,

and at half time none were really coming in, so I thought it was over, so later that night I checked the net and flicking through the results I was quite shocked, until I seen the last result I needed was Man City at home, and the page loaded and City won 1-0, with a goal in the 94th minute,

Stephen Ireland with a cracker I heard, go on STEVIE! :D,

made just under 1k on it...

Put €20 on Egypt to win the African Nations cup at either 25/1 or 33/1 on Betfair two years ago.

Couldn't understand why they were so high after them winning the one before but was going to lay them off when they reached the latter stages anyways.

Ended up being away until the final and decided to just leave them be at that stage and luckily it came in.

I had €20 on 11 teams in the 1st round of the World Cup back in 2006...absolutely crazy in hindsight and I'd never dream of more than 6 or 7 in an accum now, but it came off and I won around €1,200, I remember the last game I was waiting on was for the Ukraine to win and Shevchenko scored a penalty to win it.

Got wind of Trappatoni becoming the new Irish manager through an Austrian Friend of my fathers, he was 25/1 at the time but the man was certain Giovanni wouldn't be renewing his contract in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg and had heard that Trapp had been in touch with people in the FAI (Liam Brady I'd assume?)

600 quid on that, went half and half with the father! Nice collection from mister powers the day he was appointed! Happy out!

3 weeks before he was actually appointed, his price plummeted from 150/1 to 25/1 into 8/13 in about 1 week, bookies got taken for a nice bit! Stick to my poker these days!

Had a few very nice wins. 500 on Schelm at 11/2 to win his novice chase.
150 win double with Buckland Gold (13/2) and Titus Andronicus (3/1) in Sedgefield.

Master Billy Boy 66-1 50 pound e-w and he romped home.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,051 ✭✭✭jimbling

Biggest odds I ever won with was a horse at 200-1.... what was hilarious was it was only a 6way race. Not even sure what happened, everyone else must have fallen or something.
Only had €1 e/w on it but great stuff for just gambling while bored at work.

Biggest individual cash win was $7.5k for a $20 freezout.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,000 ✭✭✭IrishIrish

Biggest win was some poker tourny for $50, won it and got $12,000. Had come second in it a few weeks before and got $8,000. Think they were $35,000 or $50,000 gaurenteed prize pool.

Not many big winners when betting. Milon Baros to be top goal scorer in the euro's that time was about it. Think I got him at about 66/1.

I bet 380 euro on 5/2 odds that Lisbon would fail (even though I voted yes). I was disappointed about the result, but had a nice lump of cash to soften the blow :pac:
