    Guys n Gals,

I'm looking for any feedback on anyone who has done this before. I'm hearing scary stuff about the run being tougher than Kilkee and conditions are extremely variable? Can anyone comment.

Is the swim anyway sheltered? How is the cycle route? Is the run THAT hard?

    Thanks

I just ran the run leg last year,as part of a relay team. It was very warm, and definitely the toughest ten k course i ve ever done. 1st k very very steep, up for 2 k more, flattens out and heads down to halfway, then you turn back at the 5k mark the same route in reverse and its uphill again for 2k on the way back. fast last 2 k but by then u will be well shook! At least two mins slower than a flat tenk for a runner only , would not fancy doing it off a bike!!
