Hi, I have skype installed but its pretty useless really unless i can stay signed in all the time. The only way to do this is to install backgrounder app so as to keep it running in the background.

Question is, would having skype signed in and active all the time have much of an impact on battery life? I know some 3 irl phones have skype and the option to stay signed in by minimising it..and it doesnt seem to hit battery life at all..but then again maybe it was designed with this in mind.

Any1 here using skype with backgrounder that can give some info?

    Thanks
