Is aerated/ gas concrete used in the construction industry here?

    A mate of mine from poland was telling me about theiur bulding materials over yonder, he said they use a sort of porous concrete with excellent insulative properties and breathability. He said these blocks are used as standard now in Poland. 20 years ago they used to use the crap we are using now. Do we use those here at all?

    probably best answered on the construction forum.....

    I am aware that you can get aerated concrete blocks over here for construction....
