    Hi All,

as we have a baby on the way the wife needs a bigger car. The problem is that my wife is quite small (just under 5ft or 1.50m), so ideally the car has to have a higher seating position.

Currently she is driving an A Class, but we are now looking at the likes of Golf Plus, Toyota Verso, Renault Scenic and Vauxhall Zafira.

We wanna go around the dealers at the weekend to see which one would suit her best. Any other recommendations along the line, or any ideas which of the above cars would suit a small person?

Her favourite would be the new Octavia Estate, but I am not sure if it is not too low for her. Any experiences?

    Regards,
    DubDani

My sister in law is 5 foot nothing and she started driving in a Fiat 500 went through fiestas, mondeos and now drives a MPV (Hyundai i think, they all look the same to me).....She even occassionaly drives my brothers E class also.

Her solution to her height ? Jacking up the seat as far as it will go (most car seats go slightly up as wel as back and forth) and use a cushion.....hey presto, your wife is no longer limited to a choice of certain vehicles !

On a side note, I tooks some driving lessons with a female instructor in the 90s who now works as a tester in the Raheny centre and she used to have to use 2 cushions to boost her up as she was about 4 foot 6. She also had a HGV licence :D

P.S. The title of the thread looks like you're looking for a swap :p:p
