problem with unlocking 3gs

    JB with purple rain and unlocked with unltrasn0w and after reboot tried with meteor card and nothing...it askes me to connect to iTunes...tried it twice and no luck....what am I doing wrong?

    i unlocked one of these for use on meteor the other day.First, i stuck the o2 sim in, connected it to itunes and it then said'activated'..this took 30 seconds.

    then did the usual installation of purplera1n followed by ultrasn0w. Then i rebooted and everything was fine.

    it is strange I have activated it a while ago with O2 and after unlock all it says to connect to iTunes to active....anyone else had this problem? do you turn your phone off when you try sim, am i doing something wrong?

    just to add, tried purplesnow and same thing....I am asked to connect to iTunes where I was toled that it is not valid SIM

    yes I could but I have 3gs, and at least acording to dev-team blog unlock is not for 3gs, but for 3g....
