Hi guys, been trying to do a bit of research on this and haven't been able to find much.
Just wondering does anyone know of a european based online masters in dietetics? Open university hasn't got anything on this one and I can't find anything else this specific.
There seems to be loads of american universities offering this masters online but I think their accrediadation system for nutrtion/dietetics is different to ours.
Has anybody any experience of doing this masters through an american university?
I'm just a bit concerned that a masters from over there may not be up to standard to register with the british nutrition society.
Also does anyone know can you register as a dietician with one of these online masters and no clinical experience as part of the programme? Seems unlikely to me!?
    Thanks! :)

Masters and dietetics?!?!I am bit sceptical to such professionals...it'll be waste of time and money for such a degree...i wouldn't believe any organisation would be able to provide that high knowledge in this field...

Well I'm pretty sure that for any masters in dietetics whether online or through a university would need you to have a relevant degree of somesort whether in medicine or nutritional science etc.. (which I will have next year), in which case learning whatever you need to know in 18 odd months to become a registered clinical dietician wouldn't be a problem.
I know with some of the distance programmes you need to be able to commute fairly regularly to do the clinical pratice which obviously wouldn't be possible if it was run through an american university. This is why I want to find a european one.
