I am an international student and I would like to know the transportation near NUIG.
I will go to Galway from Dublin international airport.
I searched in the internet. If I take train from Dublin to Galway, it will definately faster than bus.
But, I would like to know where the bus stations and train stations locate, say the street nearby.

The bus and train station in Galway is in the main square, Eyre square (pronounced Air Square). The public transport in Galway is mainly busses, from Eyre Square the number 2,4,5,7 will bring you directly to the College but theres no need really as its only a 10 - 15 min walk across the bridge.

Galways a small city / big town, its very easy find your way around and everyones quite helpful in town so if you get lost done be embarrased to ask!

Hope you've a good time in Galway, i know you will ;)

You're better off getting a bus (citylink or gobus) direct from the airport to galway, it's less hassle, cheaper and almost as fast

Yes +1 for gobus. It's faster than citylink as it is direct. It leaves from the main coach park at Dublin Airport and will bring you into Galway City.

Thanks very much for your replies.
I guess I will take the bus instead of the train.
It is simply because the departure time of the bus fits the arrival time of the plane from London to Dublin.
