How would you recommend I go about getting an I phone?

Hey everybody Ive been on pre pay vodaphone with about 10 years. Really want to get an Iphone as I broke my Ipod touch and am ipodless. Dont know how the unlocked ones work as regards the mobile internet on pre pay.

Looking for some advise mainly want it for mobile browsing, apps and mp3 music collection is about 6gb.

3g 8gb for €99 with a €45 a month contract carphone warehouse

3gs 16gb for €199 with a 18 month contract €45 a month carphone warehouse.


Get one on ebay?

Pick one up while im over in london next week ?

Dont bother and get a Nokia 5800 on vodafone for free with a €50 a month bill

Any info or recomendations would be great.

I just got an iphone the other day.

I use it with 3. You can buy 1gb of data for €10 per month.
All seems to be working well so far.

You could probably pick up a used 3G from someone who upgraded to a 3GS and either jailbreak and unlock it, or get an O2 sim to use with it.

Do you think a pre pay o2 sim would work without jailbreaking?

Yes, any O2 sim will work. Just beware that data charges are generally much higher on prepay than on postpay with a data bundle.

The 1 gb add on is available both pre pay and bill pay.

Yep,

I'm using it on pay as you go.
I'm using eirtext to send webtexts too. I'll probably run out soon but until then 10 euro is good
