Looking at bringing in a Lotus Europa S from the UK and wondering if anyone has driven one and what they think of them.
Mate had an Elise and I drove that a few times and loved it but I'd want some form of a boot which the Europa has.

Apparently Clarkson slated it when it came out in 06 so they can actually be picked up cheaper than an Elise in UK.

Any views (haven't checked the VRT yet as it isn't on the system so need to call them) ?

The Europa S uses a GM 2L ecotec engine which is the same used in the Vauxhall VX220 and not the toyota that the elise and exige use!

the original Europa is nice alright Mike, even though the elongated back end makes it look like a sports car / pick-up cross, but I prefer the new S

I always found the engine access hatch in the cabin of the original to be an odd feature in a car. Particularly when someone is trying to sort out some burst oil lines by leaning across the passenger seat with tools.
