Does anyone know whats going with the 10~ story apartment building near Dunnes in Sandyford? I'm staring at the damn thing every day and it doesnt seem to be advancing at all. Seen some windows go in about 3 months ago, nothing since. They havent just left it, have they?

Is it this block that you are thinking about?

The apartment blocks around the Beacon South quarter all look to be shelved for now. Half of them have massive hoardings over them to make them look complete.

Sign of the times I guess.

how they were allowed to build it in the 1st place is beyond me, it sticks out like a sore thumb , horrible seeing it when i'm passing on the 75 bus.

it should be preserved, in it's current state, as a fitting symbol of how this country was ****ed up by the greed and incompetance of developers and banks.

I'll offer them a Euro for it and see what they say :pac:

Even if the building is worthless the land isin't.

The building's not worthless at all. Imagine the raves you could put on.

Twenty euro at the door. BYOB.

Massive profits. Especially if you only pay a euro for the building.

Good idea, no need for toilets or anything just go off the side :D
Just have to get a couple of recycling containers off someone in the council for a small backhander and off I go.

Those stairs could be used for ultimate slinky races also!
