If I remember right, HMV have it for €50.

I think this is €36.99 in HMV, as well.

Will check during lunch to confirm those.

Deliberately left it out:pac: Looks sweet, good dialogue from Mr haeur's character, but just to me a boring film (bring on the hate arrows!)

BR = class, but not on blu-ray, just as better off with a DVD from a picture quality perspective

I saw in GAME today a few blu-rays priced at €12.99 it included:

    Semi-Pro
    Be Kind Rewind

I forget the rest but there was at least 5 on what I seen. This was in Monaghan may not be in all stores.

What are you smoking? Blade Runner looks brilliant on Blu-Ray, in particular the newly digitally remastered final edition.

BTW it is well worth getting the US version of Blade Runner as it comes on 5 Blu-Ray discs, with the 5 different versions of the movie.

They should make that available at all pharmacies to cure insomnia!

I thought it was not worth the premium price, high def still struggles with dark scenes in my opinion and there are a lot of those in BR.
I have the dvd/hddvd and br versions and wouldn't see that much of a difference on a 55" 1080p TV, but sure that's my opinion and we digress

I expect your TV may be struggling with the dark scenes if that's the case. I have the HDDVD viewing on a 90" 1080p DLP projector at 24fps, and it is in my opinion one of the best HD discs I have. Haven't bothered with the BR version as I have the full limited ed. HDDVD boxset and the transfer is identical on the BR. The difference between the DVD and HD version is dramatic.
