Cork female singer/guitarist seeks to form/join band

    Hi there :D
    I'm a 21 year old female singer/ rhythm guitarist and I really want to get back to gigging! :) I have gigging, songwriting and recording experience. Started out when I was 16, been playing guitar since then and keys for a long time. I've been in two bands before as lead singer/bassist, and have done well in a competition or two :) I'm back in Cork in September as a postgrad student in UCC and would love to get back to gigging and jamming for the hell of it! :P I would love to find a drummer/bassist/lead guitarist (who maybe will also sing) aged 18-24 male or female! - I'm an equal opportunities kinda gal ;)
    Of course gigging means covers by the bucketload but I'd also love to come up with some originals (I've a few up my sleeve).
    Music I'm into... The Pixies, The Ting Tings, Kings of Leon. I'm kind of into everything really...

    Hey. If you're looking for another guitarist give me a shout. Would like to help out in some way. I'm a "metal head" by trade I suppose but I love a lot of different types of bands from Pink Floyd to black metal like Emperor. :D

    Do you still need a guitarist or a bassist,I hail from dungarvan, i have modern day infulences like Arctic Monkeys and White Stripes and PJ Harvey
    Also listen to classics likes Nirvana, Pixies and REM
    rhythm playing style

    What other stuff are you into? I'm not really into those specific bands but I would say I like some similar music(I need to brush up on my Pixies, have a bunch lying around somewhere).

    I'd be into some fuzzy alt rock that'd be of a similar vibe to the pixies I guess, and the Kings of Leon are probably influenced by some of the Post Punk type stuff I'd listen to.
