Hey there - I've just bought an iPhone for my wife. she had a Nokia phone before and I'm wondering how she can get her contact numbers from her Nokia to her iPhone. there's no way of getting her contacts into Outlook and iPhone isnt compatible with O2 sim backup. So I'm stumped

    Anyone got any ideas?

    thanks a milllion - SB

If you copy your contacts onto the SIM in the Nokia and then in the iphone go to Settings-> Mail , Contacts, Calanders and then scroll down and press import SIM Contacts, that will do it!

I did it this way and then i synced the contacts on the Iphone with my Gmail in Itunes, it makes it easy to edit and merge contacts instead of doing it on the Iphone.

I'm sure there are other ways!!!

    thanks nulabert

its not the same SIM - the iphone came with a new one which her number was transferred to. will the iPhone take the old sim from the nokia just to import the numbers and then I stick the iPhone SIM back in?

    Thanks -S

Can't remember how I done it but I found the solution on the web.

I know I had to export the data to a spreadsheet from the Nokia and import them via iTunes and the spreadsheet.

Not sure about that, but i'm sure you can copy contacts from old SIM to Nokia and from the old Nokia to new SIM ??
