Glasán lads - woeful expensive, or worth it anyway?

    Hi guys wondering about GMIT accommodation for September. Have been looking into Glasán because it's so near to the college but f**k me pink, the prices!!! http://www.glasan.com/html/rates.htm

    The ESB seems over exaggerated also. So out of the whole depost you pay you only get €250 at best? I've heard this may not even be possible!!! IT's hardly fair if am sharin with 2 tools who decide on having a house party and breaks a cup in the process!

    Can you pay monthly? I wouldn't be able to pay that much outright. It's very expensive but a few of my friends are going staying there. Wasl ooking at a few other places but can't find anything that's much cheaper. Help.

    Yea you can pay monthly. They will give you back the esb deposit if you dont use over that amount. It probably is worth it in first year as it is fierce craic but the management are the greatest shower of **** I have ever come across.

    Hey, I was thinkin of going to glasan but I found that the prices are very exaggerated so I've decided to get a private house in ballybane. €65 a week, great deal cheaper!

    Glasan if v expensive but so handy. might just see if i can get a house. will need to look soon tho results are out in a week and im gong on holidays! eeek1
