    Long story short.
I'm having a house I own completely renovated.
As I work away for long periods at a time, it's been over 3 months since I've been at the property.

I've got a bloke in sorting out all the work.
No complaints up until now, reasonably priced and reliable.
I had him send me a load of photographs to show me how all the work was progressing.
I was browsing through them when I noticed something unusual peeping around the doorframe in the background.

Now, I'm no expert but is that what I think it is?

Looks like some weeds have sprouted since you left, should get a gardener in to take care of that.

I hope that's not the size of your stairs well.

I also see an image of the Virgin Mary on the wall.

Oh and if you look harder, looks like a bush growing in the next room.

Its not marijuana anyway, the electrics I wouldnt worry about for now, probably dead anyway, tell him to get a head over that door though unless theres a better support RSJ above it that we cant see.
If I though what you did I'd be looking forward to coming home for harvest time.

Well, I got an e-mail back from the builder there.

Apparently he'd picked up a plant at the garden centre down the road, for his Ma.
With the weather being so hot he didn't want to leave it in the van because he thought that the heat might kill it.
So, he took it in and left it in the house while he worked.

Well that clears all that up then.
Just goes to show that you shouldn't jump to conclusions.

I mean seriously, look at it.

The builder wasn't dodgy after all, just the plant.

It's no way to treat a good plant, i thought they needed alternating darkness and very warm bright lights.......... only saying what i heard.............;)

Or maybe he's lying and living in the house.
