    what to change oil filter in my c-max but i cant locate it on the engine

    HELP!!

    I'm pretty sure it's on the drivers side, and is very tricky to get at. think you need to remove an air intake pipe. don't quote me on that though not 100% sure :D

    It should be much the same as the peugeot/citroen 1.6 hdi engine...
    This is the oil filter on the 1.6 hdi just .....unscrew the black cap

    No problem...you just have to pull out the old filter can be a bit messey so put a rag under the filter housing.
    On the new filter locate the small o-ring (in picture) into a hole @the 5 o'clock position on the filter housing and push into position......:)

    I use Mobil 5w 30 fully syn on this engine and change it every 9k instead
    of 12k thats on the service intervals.
