Drive around Eyre Square 4 times, that'll take the best part of a day.

Kerry. Killarney area is good. The ring of kerry is a good drive. Plus you may get to point and laugh at a horse in a nappy.

    +1 on Kerry and Dingle.

Was in both for a few nights at the beginning of the summer - deadly craic. And a lovely drive to there...

    Newgrange, Co Louth.
Go see the only construction that won't have a tax on it this time next year!

I'll second the dingle nomination. On the way back you can try and find Fr. Teds house in North Clare, a good way of spending a hangover day

+1 for kilarney, you can go up carauntoohil then too. I was there a few days ago and it was brilliant. That was with family members though. Me and some friends are gonna go there soon enough to camp and do things that one cannot do in the presense of cousins etc.

My dog climbed the highest mountain in ireland :D
.....he nearly died then though, only cause he was trying to impress everyone by leaping down the "devil's ladder"
