Touchkey Immobiliser Fob - Need one

Hey guys,

Have an old Mk3 golf and it only came with one spare immobiliser fob. Its one of the old touchkey ones where you have to insert it into a small socket on the dash and then remove it before you start the car.

Anyone every had to buy one as Id like to get a spare for the car.

is that an aftermarket part or original VW?

To be honest Im not sure, its possible it came with the car, though its not VW branded and the car has had a few owners so no idea who to contact about it..

can you stick a pic of it up, also the receiver.

there may be a sticker if you remove the receiver from the dash. there's a control box somewhere for it too if you trace the wires back.

I'll stick up a pic this evening of the fob but the car is over at a mates place and I wont be there till there weekend..

its an aftermarket part as far as i know. does the car have a sticker in the back windows with the name of an alarm / alarm installer?
